Venue

Skamania Lodge, in Stevenson, Washington is the destination for the 6th PacRim Breast and Prostate Cancer Meeting.

It is located in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, through which the mighty Columbia River flows, dividing Washington State to the north and Oregon to the south. The Columbia River is the second largest river in North America, traveling over 1,200 miles from northern Idaho and southern British Columbia to the Pacific Ocean.

Skamania is a beautiful Cascadian-style lodge situated on 175 wooded acres and is located just 45 minutes from Portland, Oregon. Surrounded by beautiful views and set against the backdrop of the majestic Columbia River Gorge, Skamania Lodge is the perfect location for this important meeting, providing attendees with a relaxing, yet productive atmosphere.

Accommodations

All guestrooms are beautifully appointed, and offer a view of the Columbia River Gorge or the forests of the Cascade Mountains. Each room is equipped with coffee makers, Wi-Fi and data ports, and windows that open to the fresh mountain air.

Resort Facilities and Services

When not attending the conference sessions, you will enjoy the many on-site activities and amenities the resort offers. The Waterleaf Spa and Fitness Center features spa treatments and packages, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis and saunas. Golfers will be challenged on an 18-hole, par-70 course with a full-service golf shop, cart rentals and PGA Professionals to help assist you with your game. A nightly lodge fee of $18.00 (plus tax) provides guests to unlimited use of resort facilities and services.

Restaurants and Bars

There are three restaurants at Skamania Lodge: Greenside Grille offers light, casual dining and is located outdoor at the golf course, River Rock with lighter fare and a small plate menu is a place for guests to unwind and take in the majesty of the Gorge, and the Cascade Dining Room features Pacific Northwest cuisine and an extensive wine list. In-room dining is also available to guests at the Lodge. Although the conference program designates where group meals will be held, attendees are asked to make their own arrangements for lunch on Monday, July 20th, and the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, July 22nd.
