The Barossa Novotel in Rowland Flat is one of the leading regional conference facilities in South Australia and is the destination for the 7th International PacRim Breast and Prostate Cancer Meeting. Nestled in the hills of the Barossa Ranges between the townships of Lyndoch and Tanunda, and ninety minutes’ drive from city centre of Adelaide, the Barossa Novotel is just a stone’s throw away from landmark wineries, award winning restaurants, and historic townships.
The Barossa Novotel has panoramic views across the Barossa Ranges, where you can start your day with sunrise views over rolling hills and the Jacobs Creek Vineyard, and a regional, seasonal breakfast in The Cellar Kitchen restaurant.
Participants who want to explore the local area, there are a number of walking tracks close by. Staying in the Barossa Valley, there is an opportunity to also visit the region’s many attractions, such as the Barossa Farmers Market, Lyndoch Lavender Farm and the iconic Chateau Tanunda and Seppeltsfield wineries.
Accommodation
The Barossa Novotel offers single, twin or two bedroom share rooms. Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, WIFI access and a private balcony with views over the golf course, gardens or vineyards. Barossa Novotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel.
We have reserved and will allocate accommodation for participants at the Barossa Novotel, the Meeting Coordinator will contact you regarding accommodation arrangements. Room accommodation is limited, and we wish to maximise the number of meeting participants housed on-site.
Check-In Time: 2:00pm on Sunday 17 March. Luggage drop off available beforehand.
Check-Out Time: 11:00am on Thursday 21 March (24hr reception available for early check out).
Facilities and Services
During free time at the meeting, you can enjoy the on-site activities and amenities at the Barossa Novotel including an outdoor heated swimming pool, two synthetic grass tennis courts, basketball and volley ball courts, bocce, gymnasium, giant chessboard as well as walking and jogging tracks. Bike hire is also available to explore the local area. The hotel is adjacent to the 18-hole Tanunda Pines Golf Course and also has its own Endota Spa, an escape for pure relaxation.
Restaurant
The Cellar Kitchen restaurant features an extensive buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner, with breathtaking views and artful use of local produce matched with South Australian wines. The Cellar Kitchen partners with small local farmers and growers to create seasonal menus that showcase the produce that reflect the unique terrois of the Barossa.
The meeting program designates where group meals will be held and which are included as part of the meeting registration. In-room dining is also available to guests at the Barossa Novotel, but this is a guest’s personal incidental cost.

The Barossa Valley is about 90 minutes’ drive from Adelaide’s National/International Airport, which is located in West Beach (a suburb just 15 minutes west of the city centre).
