Note to all participants:
PacRim session format: Speakers have five minutes and a maximum of five slides to introduce the theme, pose an important question or challenge current thinking. Their role is to set the scene rather than give a conventional data presentation. The co-chairs are equally important: they should be thoroughly familiar with the session theme and speakers and actively guide, challenge and redirect the extended discussion as needed. Each co-chair should also prepare their own five-minute/five-slide contribution as a reserve should a speaker withdraw, and as a source of key points or questions that can be introduced selectively to stimulate or redirect discussion. Together, the speakers and chairs should create a vibrant, engaging discussion that challenges current thinking and generates new ideas in breast and prostate cancer.
Posters: (AO size; ie about 85cm width x 120 cm height) are encouraged for all participants. They need not follow a traditional poster format: name, session/theme, talk title or key question, a small number of supporting data panels, conclusions/implications and next steps are sufficient. The aim is to facilitate discussion, not to reproduce a manuscript on a wall.
